So, I'm trying to multitask by sewing and blogging at the same time. Doesn't exactly work. And try to type with a bunch of bracelets isn't easy either.

This is the outfit I choose for today. The jacket is a Chico brand which if you don't know it is very expensive stuff. But I thrifted it. :-) The stripped long-sleeved tee was found at "the bins", what we call Goodwill Outlet Stores. So it was purchased by the pound. The blue t-shirt skirt with grinning flame is one of my Love Flow Creations.

The petticoat was thifted. The blue and silver shoe clip that I am wearing as a brooch was a Christmas gift along with the chain mal necklace. The big blue gemstone neck lace I bought at a holiday craft fair. The octapuss earrings were a gift my hubby Jeff baught for me at The Salty Teapot. This great little gift store is in the St. John's area of Portland, and has the best selection of Steampunk hats, clothes, jewelry in the whole city.

The ice skating brooch was found at the fabulous St. John's Flea Market. The Coexist pin, I have no idea where I got it. I've been collecting pins like that since I was a teen-age. The grey cowboy boots were thrifted from Buffalow Exchange.

I think my "navy girl" hat would have looked great with this outfit, but I was having a good hair day, so I kept my head the way it was. I totally forgot to have hubby get pictures of the hand jewelry,, but I can tell you I was wearing a silver loopy bracelet from Cookie Lee, a ID bracelet that belong to my late husband, my gold and silver watch and a goddess ring. There's an interesting story in how I became the owner of that ring. We happened to be at the vet's getting our kitty a check up. As I was standing at the counter paying for the visit the vet's assistant keep looking at my necklace and then asked me what it was. I told her that is a goddess. And she was like I totally have a ring that will go with that. She ran out to her car to fetch the ring, and low and behold the ring matched my necklace. I tried it on and asked her how much she wanted for it. She took my hand in her's and told me she was giving it good energy for me and that she was giving it to me. How often do random people just give you things? Well actually I've given away necklaces that I have made to woman who commented that they liked it. So maybe it happens more than we think.

Not to mention the 3 rings I wear all the time, my wedding ring, the wedding ring from my late husband and a birthday ring from previous boyfriend.

I think this outfit turned out really cool. Enough stuff going on to make it interesting, but not enough for people to stop and stare.
